~Ur physical self is the first way that you learn that u are seperate from others.
~The skin boundary keeps the good in and the bad out.
~In the spiritual world, fences are invisible.
~The most basic boundary-setting word is NO. It lets others know that u exist apart from them and that u are in control of u.
~NO is a confrontational word.
~People with poor boundaries struggle with saying NO to the control, pressure, demands, and sometimes the real needs of others.
~If u cannot say NO to this external or interal pressure, u have lost control of ur property and are not enjoying the fruit of "self-control."
~Ur words also define ur property for others as you communicate ur feelings, intentions, or dislikes.
~Ur words let people know where u stand and this gives them a sense of the "edges" that help identify you.
~Knowing the truth about God and his property puts limits on u and shows u his boundaries.
~When he says that u will reap what u sow(Gal 6:7) you either define urself in relation to that reality or continue to get injuried if u try to go against it.
~To be in touch with God's truth is to be in touch with reality, and to live accord with that reality makes for a better life.
~There is always safety in the truth, whether it be knowing God's truth or knowing the truth about urself.
~Honesty about who u are gives u the biblical value of integrity, or oneness.
